Quote unquote (或 quote … unquote) 意為「所謂的」，係用於說話時 (有時亦用在寫作中) 表示一段引文的開始和結尾，通常是對說話者不以為然或不認同說話者所說的話，但卻要引用其話語時所用的一個詞，字面意思是「引文起…引文止；開引號…關引號」。
若干人士在寫作時會將 quote unquote 誤以為是 quote on quote，這是不對的，應該避免。這個詞可以用在被引用的字或片語之前或之後，或者將其分開，把被引用的字或片語放在 quote 和 unquote 之間。寫作時，有人會在這個詞的前後都使用逗點，而在被引用的字或片語加上雙引號，但這並非慣例或規定！
