說明：One man’s meat is another man’s poison 是個古諺。已知第一個紀錄此諺語的人是英國作曲家湯瑪斯‧維托 (Thomas Whythorne)，他於大約 1576 年在他的自傳中寫到：”Þat which iz on bodies meat iz an oþerz poison. (That which is one bodies meat is others poison.)”。由於此諺語廣為人知，因此經常被縮略為 one man’s meat。
